Yeah, that's a real pity that it has been filled up. Again, would be interested to know why? Doesn't make much sense to me…

It's within the grounds of a private country club, the landfill seeming to be a future extension of the golf course.

These new pics are FAB Robert, thank you so much for sharing them with us. Its quite emotional looking at pictures like these, it shows how much a place can change within 70-odd years. Thanks again, ive really enjoyed looking at them and would love to visit them myself one day, its good to know that they are still out there.
