I'd like to draw your attention to this picture of Dr. Josef Fegerl. You certainly know the famous author of the book about Flynn and Erben. He asked me to post it here because there are photos circulating on the internet which are supposed to be of him, but are not.

Hi Inga,
I have seen a photograph of Dr. Fegerl before, I think it may have been during a visit to Rick Dodd. I know that Josef and Rick are great friends and have been so for many years.
What are these other photographs that are circulating and who is responsible for these?

I don't have any of them and don't know who posted them, but I think that when you google his name and look for photos, you will find some and people think that it is him.

May I? Rick Dodd is a famous collector of Flynn memorabilia. You stumble across his name frequently in all sorts of books about Flynn – when there are photos published, it often says below “from the Rick Dodd collection”. Brian can certainly tell you more about him, but I found it so amazing how many pictures he must have collected!

He certainly looks the adventurous type himself! What a great photo and what a wonderful book he put out for the world to enjoy. Very helpful information in it for the Flynn biographers and researchers of both Flynn and Erben! Nice to see what he really looks like! Give him our best regards, will you? Wouldn't it be fun if he joined our blog?

I am so glad to see this photo of Dr. Fegerl. This is a man after my own heart and I don't know anything about him, certainly he is a man of charm and style. Although I am not a doctor of any kind (yet), I do think this guy is in the same league as me or vice versa for that matter re. style and charm that is of course (ha!)! Love to meet him if he is still around!
