Vicky Nelson asks:
Is there any chance if you would know who is in this negative.
Found at the Hollywood home of a person quite involved in film.
We were wondering if it was Erroll & Olivia and maybe some
other leading lady.
Thank you for your help.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Vicky Nelson
PS…..negative is 7 3/4” x 9 3/4”

Robert was able to solve this riddle in about 30 seconds for Vicky who was very appreciative!

And would he solve it for other readers, too?

O. K. I am going to hazard a guess! Could this be a scene from “Anthony Adverse”(1936)? This is my guess. While the female looks like it could be a young Olivia, the male does not look like he is wearing any wig I recall seeing Errol wear in any movie. So, am I right?–A. R.

As I always like a good puzzle I will give it a try.
I think it is Nelson Eddy and Janette MacDonald! How am I doing?

I don't think David actually meant this to be a quiz. Did you, Dave? In any case, Daringthorpe, regarding your answer: Nyet

I did not intend this as a quiz but did leave it here in such a way that it might inspire one and think its a good one! Take it as far as you like Robert! :)

Thank you Robert, I just have so much to do but it will get better.
In regards to the picture, seeing it now as a positive, I have no idea who they are.

Don't know why it should be. It's how I was able to quickly answer the owner's question.

Kind of looks like Rudolph Valentino in a scene from “Monsieur Beaucaire”. Is it?–A. R.
