There are some Errol’s radio programs that are not listed here that he has done. Errol has done more that we can’t hear and a lot of the programs are missing.
Here is the link to the Jerry Hadienges Vintage Radio Log episodic list page to see the list…..

I have been trying to find some of these for years and so have my chums! The KIM radio show is missing from my Lux Collection for example and I have nearly Lux 1,000 shows. Eddied Cantor and Flynn’s appearance on Bill Stern’s Sports Newsreel are one’s I cannot find to download or buy. At one time I had many of Flynn radio shows streaming here but some are not working due to hosting problems. I need to look into it. I have always wondered if there are more than one of Flynn’ own radio show set in Jamaica: The Modern Adventures of Casanova (Marble Arms)…

Karl Holmberg, our dear friend and Flynnophile sends this added information to us:
A whole INTENDED (8-21 programs) series of “THE MODERN ADVENTURES OF CASANOVA” – circa 5/22/52 (based on information contained in a letter, with MGM letterhead, for sale on internet). Only one episode was made or has survived entitled “THE MISSING ARM OF VENUS DE MILO”. Also referred to as “JAMACIA” under University of Memphis radio archives. Flynn apparently headed for Europe sometime after recording of this program in NYC (in addition to 3 Toast of the Town appearances) where Crossed Swords, illness, and William Tell were to ultimately face him. And, given the events of the aforementioned, I do not believe that Flynn had the “inclination” to come back and complete the terms of his Casanova contract (dated 11/15/51) and record any additional programs.
“Bill Stern Sports Newsreel” NOTE: Announced for next 4 weeks beginning on 7/02/48, #453, John Garfield subs, then F.Sinatra, W.Powell, and Errol Flynn. (Following the order- Garfield: 7/2, Sinatra: 7/9, Powell: 7/16, and Errol Flynn: 7/23. BUT- extant recordings say for show # 456, 7/23/48, Jimmy Stewart subs, and NO OTHER LISTINGS FOR FLYNN- not even as guest. Therefore, Flynn never substituted.
Best, Karl
Karl also sends a Word document he researched to consider and I have posted it on the main page!

Great lists! I might have a couple to add from my collection. There’s Biography in Sound from 2/28/56, which is about W.C. Fields. Flynn contribes some reminiscence. The other is a different version of Gentleman Jim on Theater of Romance, episode 84 from 2/5/46 (they introduce him as the star of San Antonio, which would put it after the Screen Guild Players version) with Joan Lawrence (I think – it’s a terrible recording).
There are a couple others that I’ve wondered if Flynn was in. Perhaps someone here knows?
1/17/44 Lux Radio Theater War Loan Drive. Lots of stars on this one. Flynn among them?
9/27/43 Screen Guild Players do Thank Your Lucky Stars.

David, please thank Karl for this most interesting news, he must have spent a lot of time on it to find all this and it is a shame that the ones Errol made are lost.

Mary Ann, did you talk to David about your re-attribution of the posts? I think if you do it this way, it gets confusing?

Great, that’s better now. David, do all of us still have this opportunity? You said you had changed the settings, that’s why I stopped doing it.
