Diificult question… it’d have been great if he’d had the chance to work with some more of the “superstars” who are today remembered as classics, like the Monroe… that might have been an explosive mix?

I would have liked to have seen Errol work with Joan Crawford. I don’t think he appeared in a movie with her, unless they appeared together in one of those all star extravaganzas filmed during World War II like “Thank Your Lucky Stars.” Lynn

I am prety sure they didn’t; but I would have loved to see him in a movie with Carole Lombard. She had a fabulous senes of humor and they would have been stunning as a couple!

I really would have loved to see Errol work with Jean Harlow. As I feel they would have had electricity together. And also I really feel Harlow died before her time and could have become one of the greatest. Genene

I would have liked to have seen him with a lot of the greats!
Like Deborah Kerr and he would have played with her in King Solomon’s Mines if Errol wouldn’t have turned down the movie! Then I would have liked to see Hedy Lamarr, Gene Tierney, Mary Astor, Norma Shearer, Lorettta Young, Irene Dunn, Rita Hayworth and Ingrid Bergman and there are more, but they all would have been great with Errol.
I am sure you all can think of many more!

He would have been good with Susan Hayward in Canyon Passage; Loretta Young in Rachel and the Stranger; Jennifer Jones in Carrie; Paulette Goddard in Unconquered; Claudette Colbert in Drums Along the Mohawk or It Happened One Night; Anne Baxter in Crash Dive; Linda Darnell in Mark of Zorro; Doris Day in the Man Who Knew Too Much; Jean Simmons in the Big Country; Kim Novak in Picnic; Dorothy McGuire in Spiral Staircase
