A Grand Slam, daringthorpe!!!! Absolutely Ruthian of you!!! Babe Ruth & The Babe Ruth of Polo (Big Boy) were both in Babe Comes Home, and Williams played with Errol, Olivia & Jim Thorpe in Westerns.
Hats off to ya’, daringthorpe, but it’s not Hattie.
Our star of the silver screen was once regarded the Most Beautiful Woman in America. Most people today know her from a movie in which she played herself. Raoul Walsh directed her in one of his and her earliest and most important films. She has a middle name not shared by any other star in Hollywood history. And a palindromic first name to boot. Speaking of boots, she was in it.
Fascinating! Now I have to watch Sunset Boulevard again just to see her- well I would watch it again anyway- She was also in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in the 50’s.

Since you’re swinging for the fences so well, who was the female movie star that also played with Ruth, Thorpe, Flynn & DeHavilland????!!!!

That’s Anna Q. Nilsson! She played herself in the classic Sunset Boulevard (1950) along with H.B. Warner and Buster Keaton!
