Jack Marino writes to us in the EFB Mailbag:
David,
I saw Rare Booty on your blog, what is very rare is that the brick from the corner of Errol’s fireplace at Mulholland is under this figure. I took it from the floor after the house was torn down.
I bought this figure in 1973 painted, it was lead and they made a pewter one which my friend Steve has who was with me the day the Mulholland house was demolished.
Best, Jack

I’ve seen it at Jack’s. A nice little collectable, that. Don’t know why, but I saw one once in a shop in Philadelphia and passed on it. Should’ve grabbed it. But like Jack’s brick base, I do have a piece of the flagstone from around the Mulholland pool that I “appropriated” on my visit to the house once when Rick Nelson lived there. I don’t think Rick ever missed it. At least I hope not…

Was this the Flynnman’s fireplace in the final photo, Jack?! Awesome!
