Niven Rates Wicked Ways Best Autobiography

01 Aug

No, not that Niven! Jennifer Niven – the 22nd Great-Grandaughter of Geoffrey Chaucer! … No known relation to Niv, but, like David, a big admirer of Flynn. Wants to dance with him at the Troc, and take his Wicked Ways to a desert island.

This is the book you should start with then read Conrad’s Errol Flynn, a Memoir, McNulty’s beautiful “Green Book” and move on to the rest. Conrad also writes about Errol fictively in his Crane Eden novel. I wish Beverly Aadland had written a book about Errol. At one point, she wanted Prof. Lincoln Hurst to write it but it was never started. It would have been fascinating.

I just finished The Young Errol and Flynn’s parents initially wanted to write a book about their son as an antidote to his autobiography but they never finished it.

I am having trouble trying to find the review. I copy and pasted and even went on the Huffington Post website and still can’t find it. For some reason your link is not working for me!–A. R.

P.S. Jennifer Niven’s related to Chaucer, Jesse James & Pretty Boy Floyd – but not (the) Niven! (at least not to her knowledge)
