I’ve listened to this before. Casting is so important! Rathbone was brilliant as the villainous Guy of Gisbourne and the heroic Sherlock Holmes. But he simply didn’t fit the role of Robin Hood. Another missed opportunity for Flynn: Shakespeare’s “Henry V”. He was outstanding performing the Henry V monologue in “Too Much, Too Soon”. Too little, too late. But at least we got the brief glimpse of Flynn’s skill.
