Noël Coward, as he remembered in his diary: “27 March 1951. Rafted down the Rio Grande. In the evening dined with Errol Flynn and his wife Pat. Drinks on his yacht, which is beautiful, then barbecue dinner on his island – palm trees – lit by torches.”
dang, shang, you are too good, Mon. Is that barbequed jerk pork and potato salad on Errol’s plate?
It appears Noel was no coward when it came to partying in Jamaica.
The proximity and width of the channel behind Errol in this photo, may indicate that a part of the island now apparently overgrown, directky across from The Titchfield was the location of this barbeque.
