10 May

This unique 1955 Lincoln Indianapolis has long been said to have belonged to Errol – given to him by Henry Ford II after the 1955 Turin Auto Show.

Where is it written that Errol received this car from Henry. It just doesn’t sound right to me

I cannot say it’s true, twinarchers, only that it’s been said, which is why I put the title in quotes. I have no independent evidence for the claim, which has apparently been made for many years.

In addition to references in the links above, here are a couple more. I get the feeling this claim of Errol’s ownership has been known for years in elite auto collection circles. True or not I cannot say.

There is zero proof that Errol Flynn owned this car. It was a roller that never had an engine until it was restored. How di he drive it without an engine?
