I don’t know. Known for starring with another famous “talent and personality”? Ginger Rogers?

No, not Ginger, but that’s a very good guess, zacal. They were both known to do musicals. There are a
two major differences between Ginger and who Errol’s kissing, however. One is that Ginger is very well known for dancing, whereas our mystery star is most noted for singing. Our kissee was also known to wear hats, which has a relevance to this particular photo.
This photo was taken in LA, but Errol met git together with this megastar elsewhere, too, including Palm Springs, Santa Anita, Coronado, Del Mar, and Cannes, inter alia.

Bing-O, robjack! Superb!! Right on the head!!! …. Errol is humorously tributing Bing’s bucking of Hollywood studio protocal requiring balding stars not to be seen out in public withput a toupe!
… For me, this photo also captures how very much people enjoyed Errol, as reflected by all the smiling faces, Bing’s son perhaps most so.
Thanks, robjack. That was a great job on a very tricky quiz.

Thanks GT
Actually I saw this photo a few years ago in a book on Crosby. Apparently it was taken in 1953.
