Dear fellow Flynn fans,
as today is Errol`s birthday, here is what the stars had in store for our Hollywood hero: www.astrotheme.com…
Very fittingly for a man who sailed under the flag of a fighting cock, he was born under the Chinese sign of the Rooster.
Enjoy,

Verry cool, heraldheinz. Here’s Errol’s own EFB star:
And check out Errol’s chart. Looks like the sailing was in the stars for him:

He certainly was the “Cock O’ The Walk”! LOL!
Strutting into our hearts and minds for over a hundred years!
I remember the part in his book when he was hungry and put on the act in that hotel restaurant as if he owned it.!
A natural born actor, adventurer, writer and so much more……

Speaking of Stars, astroheinz, here is London’s renowned Star Tavern, Errol and Gene Kelly used to meet for drinks during the early Fifties. Located in the heart of Belgravia, one of Londontown’s most fashionable hoods.*

*Speaking of hoods, this is also where The Great Train Robbery was planned. (I’m sure glad Chuckie Pigham didn’t know this, or he would have tried to pin the robbery on Flynn.)

For the record, after the Star Tavern closed early, which was apparently the way it was in those days, Flynn and Kelly also used to visit Le Ambassedeurs Restaurant, Garrison’s Nightclub, and Le Cercle Casino as VIP guests of John Mills, who owned all three establishments, as well as the El Morocco in New York, one of Errol’s favorite haunts. After hours there, Mills would bring them to a secret and unlawful casino he ran outside of London, name and location unknown to me.
Ah, It was Good to Be Flynn!
The Le Ambassadeurs Restaurant, Garrison Club, and Le Cercle Casino were all located in the building pictured below.

Yes, probably so, Maria. And Errol surely burnt his birthday candles at both ends.

Likely, indeed, labohemeheinz. And then, old boy, there was London’s Lido Club. There’s a renowned one in Paris, too, near the Champs de Elysees. Here’s a late in life photo of Errol at the London Lido … or is that Nazzari?

I found this birth chart, which gives a little explanation of the planets position at the time of Errol’s birth. Apparently the positions of the planets at birth are determining all the character trades one has.
Does anybody know a lot about astrology? May be an interesting subject to determine where the planets were at the times when he had his trouble galore. If somebody knowledgeable about this subject could have warned him at the time when the planets were colliding for him – could he or it have been prevented of happening? Just a thought!

Ascendant in Aries makes Errol Flynn good-looking and adventurous. Midheaven in Aquarius makes him exciting and ingenious. Moon in Cancer gives Flynn a need or desire for emotional security and home life and gives an excellent business sense. Sun in Gemini needs variety, change, and mental stimulation to stay happy. Mercury in Gemini gives a clever, versatile, and quick mind -great for speaking or writing. Venus in Cancer has a liking for the comforts of home and has a sentimental or maternal love nature. Mars in Pisces is sly and devious and gets its way by playing on other people’s emotions. This position is also very sensitive, romantic, imaginative, and easily moved to tears. Jupiter in Virgo likes to keep busy and is very thorough, clean, organized, and meticulous. Saturn in Aries near the Ascendant gives him a controlled and reserved persona, yet active and energetic nonetheless. He is very self-conscious and has a gift for acting at the right moment. Uranus in Capricorn likes to take business risks and produces an unstable or wavering reputation. Neptune in Cancer conjunct the Moon gives Errol a strong domestic psyche and a glamorous popularity with the public. Pluto in Gemini conjunct the Sun and Mercury makes Errol very much in tune with the media underground and is very aware of the power of the word and pen to affect people’s lives.
