Errol had occasional fun when he could on those Drives of his, oharaheinz. After (or maybe before) harassing and going under the married Miss O’Hara’s table in Texas*, Errol engaged in another classic, meeting in St. Louis their future Against All Flags co-star, Anthony Quinn. Here’s a account of that one from Karl Holmberg and Lincoln Hurst, starring Flynn & Quinn:

*It was surely the wrong time for O’Hara to be having fun with Flynn. Errol was surely pissed and embarrassed about having to be on bond drives rather than fighting in uniform with the troops. And Maureen was stuck at that time with a terribly troubled and abusive alcoholic husband. She was apparently devoid of any sense of humor with any drinkers at that time, even (or maybe especially) the great Errol Flynn.

She later expressed regret in her autobiography “Tis herself” that she didn`t contact and meet Errol one last time when both did movies in Castro`s Cuba.
