Highlighted by an outstanding portrayal of a late-1950s Flynn by Kevin Kline, who, many believe, should have played Flynn in a major biopic way back when he could have portrayed Errol at his physical and cinematic swashbuckling peak. Unfortunately, apparently due to screenplay and budget problems, the film itself is not nearly on par with Kline’s superlative performance. Susan Sarandon does an excellent job, as well.

I must agree Gent! Kevin in his younger years was so close a twin that I always wondered why he stayed away from portraying Errol. Kevin even did Fairbanks even though he was a little tall for the roll.

Thanks Tina! I once lived in a house as a teenager that was demolished into the basement. The demolition of Errol’s house is a lose of history. Alas that is the way of high density housing development. Money of course enters the scene.
