A (Watergate) Complex Quiz

30 Mar

A Heinz-inspired post.

A connection between Errol’s Tale of Tell and the Watergate Complex? How could that be? (No, Bruce Cabot wasn’t one of the burglars. … at least I don’t think he was.)

Very keen questioning. Spoilerheinz says: Luigi Moretti. Italian- international architect and former partner to phony Fossataro, the wannabe producer of Will Tell. Any more info on the duo infernale is greatly appreciated, Watergent Tim.

Didn’t see you reply until now, spoilerheinz! It wasn’t there when I began writing my San Vittorio Prison/Journey to Italy post.

As you clearly knew, Luigi Moretti was one of Italy’s greatest architects, as well as Adolpho Fossataro’s business partner. Fossataro being the count Errol couldn’t count on. Moretti and Fossatoro met as inmates in San Vittorio Prison, pictured below. Moretti was so highly regarded that he won the much-coveted contract as Chief Architect of the Watergate Complex. The rest, as they don’t say, is mystery.

*Two additional clues are the references to Fossataro’s “Junior” movie productions in the first Willian Tell photo at top of this post, and in the Journey to Italy poster below.
