This is the famous Jade Lounge Bar on Hollywood Boulevard, where Errol likely occasionally imbibed and took in the scenery, possibly even Peggy Lee, who often performed in this popular supper club of “Oriental Splendor”.

In addition to this “Oriental Splendor, there was an Australian connection, too – something that the Master of Mulholland surely knew and appreciated.

A close-up on the famous Jade Lounge “Buddhapest” mural above:

The name of this illustrative Australian can be seen a half-dozen times in this post, once for each of his six wives.

It involves an actor, magician and artist – and an interior part of this humble abode:

In the spirit of Christmas here’s a gift of a hint:

Are we talking about Thelma Todd?

No, Sergio, unfortunately for Thelma (but luckily for Lucky) she was whacked before the connection in question took place (up at Mulholland.)

Well now that I know it was Clive, and something happened inside Mulholland House of which I am sure our man Flynn was there too, I am still lost on the magician, unless we are talking in the times of Flynn hanging with his drinking club of which WC Fields was part of also. As we know WC was magician, actor, comedian, writer, etc.…..

Three rascals up to no good, but where is the dame? There’s always a broad somewhere in this kinds of messes…..

Yes, Sergio, the incredibly talented Henry Clive it is – artist, magician, and even an actor on occasion. Excellent work- most of the way there! It was something he once did behind Errol’s bar that will complete the answer.

… I’m sure you’re right about a dame (or more) being involved, but I don’t have any details on that!! Like Errol, Henry did have great taste for beautiful women. For example, here is his sixth bride, the show-stopping beauty Acquanetta.

Yes! Fellow Hollywood Aussie Henry Clive created the Bullfighter mural behind Errol’s legendary Mulholland bar!
