Saw the 3D show of Skull Island last night. No new Errol Flynn in the film, but the new Kong is indeed tremendous. Bravo to Industrial Light & Magic!!!

Agreed Gentleman King, “Skully” is a monumental monster movie and a highly entertaining one at that. But Tom Hiddleston despite all his rugged handsomeness reminds me more of Leslie Howard that Errol Flynn. Sorry, Mr. Spielberg, but I can see him very well wearing a Fedora hat and become the new Indiana Jones instead.
