Errol Flynn’s dog, Arno, is barred off The Sisters set. Flynn has been training him as a protector and, when Bette Davis had to make a pass at Errol in a scene, the dog lunged at her, bit her leg and chased her up on a chair.

I’ve never had the least desire to bite Bette Davis. That dog has guts!

Tony! Tony! Tony! That’s Queen Bette of Hollywood you’re speaking of! Hush, Hush.
Arno must have blown the dog whistle on her, ’cause not long after this Flynncident on the set of Sisters, one of his canine cousins bit Bette right between her big Bette Davis Eyes O!O

I would generally not have made such a bad joke, but when I was a kid I was traumatized by the movie What Ever Happened To Baby Jane.
Sorry the woman got bit on the nose though, really. Not funny at all.
