I keep hoping she’ll fess up before she dies as to whether or not she and Flynn ever did consummate their age long infatuation for one another. I tend to side with the Robert Matzen book in which he infers they did, during They Died With Their Boots On. Would sure explain the depth of affection they show each other in that film that transcends the script.

Brenda – I really don’t believe this would have been true, considering that Olivia was already pregnant during the filming of “They died with Their Boots On”. It’s not to say one cant physically, but being the person she has always been, a very moral person, this would really have been sacrilegious for her.
I know she wished she could have in some way as she mentions at times in interviews, etc. Yet her knowing Flynn and how he smoked his woman as fast as his cigarettes, always put a damper on her actually giving in. She knew it would be a nowhere road, and for her to get this intimate, it would have had to be something more substantial; Love, marriage and a hope of togetherness forever if possible.
So in all that, I personally feel very safe to say, she never had done it with the “Master of all Dames”….
