The connection has to be the movie “The Sisters” as it also plays in Silver Bow, Montana where the Pharmacy and the sisters’ home is located.
Tim, your name should be changed to Tricky Dicky!
Wow what a quiz – very good!
Hi Tim;
This quiz needs a little help from you for it’s a little disjointed in my humble opinion, as we have clues so far in the first picture Teddy Roosevelt at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, 1917, his first ride in a motor car – a Ford Victoria Automobile!
Second picture, San Francisco Earthquake, Folsom Street April 18, 1906.
Third picture, Howard Taft as he hurls the first pitch into the stadium to open the season on April 15, 1910.
Fourth Picture, Montana. Errol did not ware a bow tie in his movie Montana, but Olivia is there
Fifth picture, Singapore – How???
Sixth picture. Olivia, Ida and Nancy Coleman in the movie Devotion 1946 as they play the Bronte Sisters.and the seventh picture the actual Bronte Sisters.
How this all fits together with a connection to Errol has me puzzled!
I think Errol only played in 2 or 3 three movies without a mustache and bow tie. Escape Me Never he is linked with Ida but again to find a connection to all the other clues is the puzzle.Ha!
Teddy was president when the Boxer Rebellion started in China, Taft was his Sec. of State after moving from the Philippines , Jim Corbett fought John L. about the same time the Boxer Rebellion started, he fought in San Francisco, and as Corbett he was a bank clerk and wore a bow tie and had no mustache! In Escape Me Never, he played a composer married to Ida, this took place about the same period! And the bow is just a gift to us on the blog!
Silver Bow was the gift that kept on giving in those days depicted in Errol’s film, Gene. Home of the “Richest Hill n the World”, largely because of George Hearst, W.R.’s father. More than silver, it was known for copper; indeed, it was the world’s largest producer of copper during the years depicted in this movie.
Tim;
Wow, and this brings us to the movie “the Sisters” and Singapore and the Earthquake in 1906 and the Bronte Sisters and Presidential Balls of Roosevelt and Tuft but where is the connection that is the question, which is the baffling thing???

Yes, Tina! That’s it! Errol Flynn in The Sisters!!!
Starts during TR’s ascension to the presidency, ends during Taft’s.
The Sisters are from Silver Bow, Montana.
Errol wears a bow tie, but no mustache.
The San Francisco Earthquake of 1906 figures prominently, as does Errol’s leaving Bette for Singapore.
