“Don’t tread on me” echoes to me from our Livvie and her deeper side that is a spit-fire behind those beautiful eyes!
So wonderful that her mind is still so very strong after all these years! I’m lovin it!

Will be interesting to see what develops. Olivia might get even more determined to do something. I think the entire opposition to what she was complaining about was way over the top, and did not address her concerns at all or depict them fairly – which is quite ironic!

It looks like you cannot correct lies and innuendoes even in life about yourself if somebody calls it fiction. The arguments against Olivia were pretty damned broad if you ask me. How will she react? She is made of rather tough stock …

Kudos to Judge Holly Kendig of the Superior Court for standing up for the importance of truth, and ruling to allow a jury to hear Olivia’s case – a trial FX severely feared they would lose. Thank you, Judge Kendig!

Shame on appellate judge Ann Egerton for not recusing herself as judge on this case. Her very long and deep connections to NBC and FX as an entertainment industry defense lawyer plainly compelled that she not be permitted to write this obviously-biased opinion. It is aglaring judicial abuse and injustice that she did not recuse herself, or was not otherwise disqualified by the appellate court.
As Olivia’s attorney made clear following the release of judge Egerton’s opinion:
“This is an entirely pro-industry decision, and was clearly written before the hearing less than a week ago.” She notes that the official biography of Justice Egerton, a recent appointee to the Court of Appeal, states that the Justice was previously the West Coast General Counsel for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) and before that was a partner at Munger Tolles & Olsen, the firm representing FX in this case.”
Thanks for fighting for truth and decency for all, Olivia!
I will be boycotting FX and everything Ryan Murphy touches. He should be eternally ashamed and punished for defaming the great Olivia DeHavilland. A pox be on all you do, Murphy.
