Marvelous, David! I had no idea who she was, nor that she was [an] American chic! (Quoting Vogue, March 1957)

    Hi Everyone,
I’m wondering if somebody here can solve a mystery about the Zaca.
As far as I know, the history says that this boat was at the beginning black painted with yellow transom label showing ZACA San Francisco – then it was painted dark grey due to the navy service during the second world war and then completely restored and painted in white with the label ZACA London.
Now, I’ve always thought that the boat has been white since dear Errol had purchased it after WWII but, looking at some pictures and recent videos found on the web, it seems that at the end of the ’50s the boat came back to the original black color and the San Francisco label. Does anyone know anything about it?

Caro Giaro, the Zaca again turned Black Pearl in Flynn‘s later years. If I remember correctly, it was during his stay in Spain. Flynnmate Ventu Sala told me the exact date, when I asked him about it- he knows for sure! www.theerrolflynnblog.com…

It must have been during Flynn‘s stay in Spain then.
