Great picture! That is Lili with him, right? If it is, she looks great, also! I don’t know why so many people dislike her. After all I think she really loved him. I believe she became mean to him, because like that old adage about a woman scorned.–A. R.

Perhaps the most stunningly beautiful husband and wife in Hollywood history, A.R. Maybe in her own extremely selfish way maybe she did love Errol. But she made a major mistake thinking she could cage an eagle, especially an eagle who soared further and higher than any one before of since.

Nevertheless, we have Lili to thank for Errol, and for Sean. Without Lili providing entre nous for Errol, he may have never been the immortal he now is. Without Lili, there was no Captain Blood. Without Captain Blood … who knows.

I think he would have been noticed anyway.
She put in a word. He still had to audition. Then she complained that she lost her husband…sure. her flying dishes did that

The fact remains that had she not been pushing for Errol, he may not have been noticed and her advocating for him certainly made his chances better; especially since he was an unknown and therefore taking a chance on him would be risky. As for her “flying dishes”, Errol was no saint. While I don’t condone physical altercations, I have seen many couples where tempers have gotten the best of them and actors are a very dramatic types. And as we have seen theirs’ was a very hot and volatile relationship. Sometimes “love is a battlefield”.-A. R.

I believe this man with the Master of Mulholland type moustache might agree with you, A.R.

I get your drift, but I prefer the Pat Benatar original.–A. R.

No doubt, A.R. I just couldn’t find a version of her with a moustache.

Nor one with her throwing dishes … though this comes close

Sometimes it was humorous; but sometimes it was not.
