Isn’t that Ross Alexander the 4th back from Errol, not David Bruce? And David Bruce wasn’t in Captain Blood.

I agree, that the correct ID goes to Barb.

He (the 4th fellow) sure COULD be mistaken for Ross Alexander, his look alike brother, or for that matter the Hitchcock player (and still alive @ 105)… Norman Lloyd!

But alas… his career does not begin until 1940 and, as an uncredited.

3 Flynn film appearances in total however: Seahawk, Santa Fe, and Don Juan.

Thanks David for sharing the moving McBroom song!

PS Is #5 possibly William Marshall… did he “sneak in” just as it is alleged Errol did in Abdul the Damned- both speculations, of course, DEFY recorded records?

Just as Bruce, Marshall was NOT on the scene until 1940.

And also just to remind, Captain Blood was both shot (?) and released in 1935…

A beautiful song on so many levels. What a tribute to her father.

Yes, an absolutely brilliant, heart-wrenching song. Amanda wrote a masterpiece.
