During Flynn’s career at Warner Brothers he probably appeared in every type of feature, featurette and short subject possible. But little is mentioned of his career in cartoons. Here are three of them where references, or more, are made about Errol.

Day Two (Part 3) of my Errol Flynn/Hobart Adventure – 60 Duke Street, Hobart
As a child, Errol lived in a number of different houses and lodgings in Hobart, which reflects the unsettled and restless life of his parents. Over the next few days, I will post images of these various “homes” of the young Errol. The first one in Duke Street is a fine and fairly standard Hobart residence, and at the nearby junction of Duke and Parliament Street you can see a scattering of snow on Mount Wellington. Parliament Street is about 20 m from Errol’s home. 
In 1919, the Flynns were living at this address. The small plaque shows the year that the house was built. The 10 year old Errol allegedly conducted his infamous experiment with “the living bracelet of ducks” in the backyard.

Ross Schnioffsky sends us news about his recent trip to the birthplace of Errol Flynn in Hobart, Tasmania … Russ says:
I thought it might be a good idea to celebrate Errol Flynn’s birthday in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. So here I am. Errol was born on this day, June 20 in 1909 and this afternoon I was standing in front of the building where he was born. It is now an apartment complex. Some sections of the original building still exist. The other buildings are nearby and in the same street. Already I am in love with Hobart.

Errol is busy in the middle of the month of August, 1938, working on Dawn Patrol. These pics show how the make-up was applied, the old-fashioned way without any special equipment or applicators. Just blow it on. It came out just right.
A couple of related candid shots about a real war hero and the planes they used during the making of the picture.
Errol also received good news about a pay raise!

Dear Flynnstones,
look what I refound amongst the material I have gathered over the years on Errol‘s half finished William Tell film- an appearance on the BBC Show “In Town tonight“ from November 1953.
I remember a conversation with this blog‘s own Inga, when she posted a list of all Flynn radio outings. I said I thought that it was a TV show, because I had seen a clip from it. Matter of factly it may have been both. Despite being broadcast only into the ether, Robin Hood hawking for £ 50.000 in order to become Will Tell was too interesting to not put on camera also.
By the end of the year, he would have the money (not from United Artists boss Arthur B. Krim, not from Brother Warner), spend it elsewhere and move to England to do three movies there.
Instead resuming Tell with a different script & director two years later, it became apparent that the scenes already in the cans would stick out like an arrow from a head. Reshooting was not an option. The apple shot had been missed.
