And what a wonderful film that was, Delvan, as everyone here would agree. So cool that you had a chance to work in it! I’m particularly interested in the final year of Errol’s life, which doesn’t seem to get enough attention. Glad the film got made. Linda

I was surprised, the film was much better than I thought it was going to be. It had some moments in which Kline really caught Flynn, But it suffered overall from a low budget, and elements that might have otherwise been fleshed out a lot more. I am sure the entire script didn’t get shot. But I enjoyed it despite it flaws and it must have been a Herculean project to even get made!

Not unanimously or universally regarded a wonderful film. In truth, widely regarded an artistic and commercial flop. I would say reviews are generally in the ‘C’ range, despite ‘A’ performances from Kevin Kline and Susan Sarandon. I’d give a ‘C’ overall, as it appeared to me (and many others) to have an insufficiently budgeted look. This, of course, is one of the reasons why it did not enjoy box office success. A film about Errol Flynn compels much better conception, scripting, and budget. In retrospect, I’m sure Kevin Kline would agree.

Millions upon millions of fans, backed by a legion of film reviewers and critics, found the movie boring and mediocre, at best. As we all here know, Errol hated boredom and mediocrity.

Delvan, what issue are you having trying to add photos? Let me know what your specific issue is? You might try a different browser, or make a screenshot of the image, crop it, save as .jpg, and upload it …

Delvan, you don’t look goofy at all! Nice pic, what fun! I used to do extra, featured extra and crew work on films and TV shows like Northern Exposure, too. Great memories!

Very nice, Delvan! Congratulations to you. Btw, I thought your scene was one of the film’s highlights.

How cool, Delvan, lucky you! I was amazed at how well done this film was considering how small a budget the filmmakers unfortunately had to work with. We should all be so talented!
