A somewhat rare-ish picture of Errol, Marelle and Theo at a conference during his early youth. Though a bit hard to see clearly, Marelle is the (L-R) first person on the first row. Theo is the third person on the front row. Errol is the 6th person on the front row. He’s the smaller of the people, obviously.

The professor is definitely recognizable, Lily tto, but a bit less so. I’m having a hard time discerning Errol’s features with the equipment presently available to me.
It would be great to crop and enhance young Errol’s image for the historical record. Or has that already been done?
By any chance, do you know what exact event or year, Delvan? How close in time to this one would you say?

I tried to discern Errol without reading your text. I didn’t know the little boy was him but I did think it looked like the boy was wearing a Robin Hood hat.

I thought the same, zacal! But, between the reduced quality of the image and the screen I viewed it on, I couldn’t be sure. With your tremendous visual skills, your saying it has much greater value.
I also thought, consistent with the time-frame (circa a hundred years ago), it could also be the sometimes similar Peter Pan cap. As we know, however, Errol leaped out of the womb as Robin Hood. …. Even so, may have had some Peter Pan in him at that young age – before his libido kicked in! Maybe that great mural from the Santa Barbara Courthouse will help!
