One of Errol’s first visits to Palm Beach:
Visiting with Lili at Southwood, the Palm Beach Cottage of Eleanore Emily Woodward Vietor, Jell-O Heiress.
… I wonder what they had for dessert? You can never have enough Jell-O royalties.

And here’s an interesting twist, Mrs. Vietor, the Jell-O heiress, later appears to have become Mrs. Cernadas, apparently related in some way to Freddie McEvoy’s daughter/Charles Wrightman’s granddaughter. Alfredo Cernados is a ranch baron from Argentina, who lived in Palm Beach and Gstadd, Switzerland. Haven’t put all the pieces together yet. This is in shangheinz territory!

Well Tim-O, all I know, is that Fred the Mack did brittle business with Alberto Dodero, the Argentinian ship magnate. Errol would follow on the Peron path later on.

Freddie Mack and Albie Dodero!? Oh good lord. The plot ever thickens. All we need now is for young Aristotle to show up (Onassis, not the philosopher)
Suicide Freddie sure was on a slippery slope in the late 30’s and 40’s.

That is a top foto, Telescope Tim! The axis of Fred and greedy greeks spans from Switzerland to the South of France.

And here’s Freddie’s very humble and understated Talbot-Lago 12-Cylinder Teardrop Coupe during the same timeframe, continentalheinz – the first one of it’s kind. A very handy vehicle for grocery shopping, taking the kids to school, etc.

Let’s be sure not to overlook the Cernadas and the distinguished diplomat from D.R, Rubirosa Hutton. … Mrs. Vietor, the Jell-O Queen, became Mrs. Cernadas in the 50’s, though I’m not positive yet if hubbie was Alfredo, or some other Cernadas.
Man, one great thing about researching Flynn is that he takes you everywhere, with anyone who was anyone. LIli (Loomis) was only about a half mile down the beach from Lili in those years, so would have had to drive right by her home to get to Worth Avenue. And Ellie appears to have been at every major social event.

Here in pink is Jell-O Queen Ellie Vietor Cernadas on the links at the Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, March 1970 – just up the road from PB. I wonder if Lili socialized or spoke much together in those days. During season, Ellie was everywhere all the time in PB, not so Lil – especially in 1970.
