    Great observations, Karl. You are surely correct, and any one in the ad business back in those days (still today) would have known of Errol’s incredibly unique persona very, very well. After all, he was the original world’s most interesting man.

    I must say though, Karl, at first, I had to balk at agreeing to this comparison. I just wasn’t too keen about comparing Errol to a Hamm actor.

    Only thing missing is Lovely Rita! (and Errol’s unparalleled charm.)

    btw, Draper did play Errol’s attorney once! (Jake Ehrlich – the model for Perry Mason.)
