I always like this album and was listening to it on YouTube and once again became fascinated with the cover photo. This is what I found on Wikepedia: Miss Christine appeared on the front cover of Frank Zappa’s 1969 album Hot Rats. She is shown halfway through emerging from an empty swimming pool on the infamous Errol Flynn estates in the Hollywood Hills. She also dated rock and roll singer Alice Cooper, as well as Todd Rundgren from Utopia fame and a member of the Flying Burrito Brothers. Miss Christine died on November 5, 1972, of a heroin overdose in a house in Cohasset, Massachusetts, which at the time was being rented out by musician Jonathan Richman and his original group, The Modern Lovers.[7] Her death occurred shortly after she had spent nearly a year in a full body cast to correct a crooked spine.

GREAT find, twinarchers! Thanks.
btw, Errol’s Mulholland Drive kid neighbor – who would have almost certainly known Flynn’s history with Huntington Hartford’s pool house – played guitar on Zappa’s Hot Rats.
Here’s what the pool and poolhouse looked like in the days of Flynn:

According to this compilation of contemporaneous radio spots, the album is “almost unbearably psychedelic” (that was intended as a compliment), and putting the album cover under a blacklight provides some sort of effect.

When I was a kid I used to ride my bike to a cemetery near by that had a big pond and a creek running through. I would climb trees and spot turtles, then capture them for a local restaurant that served turtle soup. In those days one could do that. Across the road from the cemetery was an old abandoned estate that had a few pools like those on Frank”s album. Weird that they had those same pieces in them. Anyway they were full of RATS! This was not that far from Philly and all the places on the back side of “One size fits all”.I will never forget the “Mothers” and JELLO! LOL!
Frank was just into his 50’s when he passed off the scene like someone else we know. Oh one more thing, please don’t eat that yellow snow! LOL!

I stay away from the yellow snow but use plenty of floss every day. Interesting about the rats.
