    Beautiful image, Don Jan. Gracias.

Do you know the approximate date of this depiction?

I’m wondering also if anyone has any images or descriptive details (number of rooms, square footage, amenities, condition, etc) revealing how it looked when Errol bought/owned /renovated it. Same for The Jamaica Reef (aaka Flynn’s Inn)?

Florida’s “Sexy Rexy” Rand, Radio entrepreneur. His Rand Broadcasting Corporation owned WINZ, WINQ, AND WEAT.

      He had few matches as a hard-partying, big-spending, con-artist.

Said to have had a life size portrait of Errol hanging in the living room of his Hibiscus Island hacienda.

That’s awesome, David! Thank you! — The Titchfield, and bamboo raft races in Port Antonio to boot! How cool.

Speaking of bamboo and Casanova Flynn, here’s Peggy La Centra singing The Man I Love for Ida Lupino, at the Bamboo Bar, in the eponymous “film noir musical” (quoting Martin Scorcese) directed by Raoul Walsh. Errol’s good buddy Alan is in the movie, too – one of his last movies.)

Not just a brilliant actress Ida Lapino was a great director, too, at a time when there were few women directors. One of my personal favorites, as well …
