Thanks so much, Don Jan. As you well know, Don Flynn’s supreme talents and performances earned every accolade he’s ever received, and more. He was, and is – by far – the greatest swashbuckler of them all – light years ahead of everyone, something I believe Lucas wonderfully exploited and essentially tributed in his masterpiece known as Star Wars.

Regarding Flynn connections to Star Wars:
Were you in Star Wars, also, David, or is this distinguised former Jedi the fellow who had the misfortune of having his fingers mangled by Errol’s sword on the set of Darth Avengers, I mean Dark Avaders, I mean Dark Avengers? (And later fabulously narrated “Tasmanian Devil”?)

p.s. Lord Lee was featured in several editions of Star Wars – visually, orally, and holographically.

Bruce Cabot was the male lead (apart from the ape) of the original King Kong. Reverse his initials and another hairy fetched reference to the Star wars series comes up.

Ok, I confess to being flynnfluenced to compare BC to Chewie…

I’ve conducted extensive research into this stellar observation of yours, wookieeheinz, and have discovered evidence that you may indeed be on(to) something. Both Brucie and Chewie can be seen in the following clips at the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, with Errol and Errol Solo.

Thank you, hairyheinz, for posting these photos of Bruce in his hair, there and everywhere suit. He looks quite hirsute in his suit.
