“Charge Of The Light Brigade” Lake Sherwood

29 Nov

From my recent entrée to a private area of Lake Sherwood–finally, after 25 years! As you can see, it's quite overgrown, preventing a clear view as in the film still. Still magical, though.

Very interesting and beautiful as always, Robert! Could you say a little more as to why it's private and why so difficult to get there? Thanks!

It's now part of the property of a private country club. I was able to convince the security office (by showing them my credentials and “Then & Now” book concept) to escort me to the site, opening locked gates along the rugged roads.

Thank you! How absurd again to sell a lake and make it private property!!! You were really lucky to get in there, and you truly deserved it for the pursuit of your outstanding project.
