      This picture is from the movie “Montana.” In the film, Errol sings a song with frequent co-star Alexis Smith.

          I love that song and in particular the movie! Errol sings so well – great duet with Alexis!

        Hi speedracer5, come to think about this picture I don’t think it is ‘Montana’. In Montana he only sings the song ‘Reckon I’m in love’.
        I think it is out of ‘San Antonio’ close to the beginning of the movie. He sings and plays guitar just before his friend John Litel – Charlie Bell visits him in Mexico.
        What does everybody else think?

          I was looking around on the Internet images to see if I could find something in regards of some details of this picture and I found this one:

          It looks like he is wearing the same clothes and this picture is out of San Antonio. I should have thought to do that before I made my post. Hind sight as always is 20/20 vision – yeah!

    No I have not seen it. My favorite photos of Flynn are the ones that are not portraits but candids. Usually his hair is a bit longer and not so perfectly combed. Thanks for the pic.

      Hi David;
      Thanks for the info good to know! My post only indicates in what issue and what year it was in the magazine not when it was taken. It had to be taken much earlier as Errol only wore a wedding ring in the first year of his marriage or there about.
      Here is another picture of Errol with wedding ring 1936.

        Ada replies:

        The statement that Errol only wore his wedding ring for about a year is a rumor.

        He wore it on and off again as late as, during the making of Four’s A Crowd, which is the same period as the “carnation” shoot.

          Hi David;
          Yes, Ada is right he wore the wedding ring in Four’s a Crowd and ugh I even posted the very picture including wedding ring in my filmography of all his movies I made years ago.
          So then he wore the ring about two years or so. Most commendable considering champagne bottle and all. He really was a trooper to do that.
          We did had the wedding ring discussion already a long time ago when Inga and Robert were still around.
          Here is the picture of Errol, which is a cut-out from a picture Four’s a Crowd.
