Hello everyone and a good morn' to all of you!
I found this picture quite a while ago and always wondered what the deeper meaning of it could be???
I thought maybe you could put light where there is darkness!
I know that “eppur me sono scordata ti me” means “Yet I forget about you”, which also I know is an Italian song. But, then there is the “Figure 61 Planet”, which has something to do with physics and after that I am stymied. I must have been missing in school when they taught this subject! Like Errol, I had other things to do than to go to all the classes! I know you didn't do such things and therefore you will have the answer!

That's odd, I can see the other pictures you posted, but not this one. I even went to your gallery and figured out it must be Errol178, but there, too, is only a red x. Maybe you could e-mail it to me when you are up again. Hope you had a good night!

OK, Tina, I still cannot see the picture (no idea why!), but a friend from Germany sent it to me and said that maybe the half circle has got something to do with navigation. Dunno, I'm not a sailor.
Here are some further interpretational ideas:
To me, this looks like a picture of a criminal, you know, where you hide the eyes so that they cannot be recognised.
The half circle above his head looks like a replacement of his head – and it looks pretty empty. As if to show that his head is empty.
And that he forgets about things, underlined by the song text… Considering these points, I think this is quite a mean picture, one that criticises certain aspects of Errol's personality.
It would be interesting to know where you got it from, maybe this would help further.

There is something called The Red X Fix here on the blog (see the category tree on the left hand side of the blog) that might be helpful in the case that you cannot see pictures. Hope this is helpful. We also had a situation in the past in which whole articles did not appear in some browsers. Gremlins in the woodwork!

I sent the picture! Maybe you are right, but if so why such round about way? Pretty odd! Even if it just to advertise the song – it' a strange way too! I have the feeling there is more to it. As you see I have thought a lot about it.
Let's see what our co-authors think of it and come up with as they have always great explanations. Curious as I am I just would love to know the train of thought behind to produce a picture like this. I think there went a lot of thought into it – this is not a whim or larifari item, somebody was really thinking!
I even thought of Galileo (Physicist-Astronomer-Philosopher-Mathematician) and his famous sentence of “E pur si muove” or Eppur si muove” = “yet it still turns”! (meaning the earth)
But – Why produce it? For What reason? There is a reason I am sure!

As you can see, this picture is from a series called “Virtues and Vices”. There are two more similar pictures in this series. You can see them when you click on the title “Virtues and Vices”. Again, if you consider the slightly different trannslation below the picture, this confirms my idea of an empty brain, things Errol has forgotten about. Maybe an allusion to the many women he had? Just an idea. The more I think about it, the less I like it.

I know. I posted a link to a smaller one but this one still hangs on!
When I deleted the huge picture, I forgot that it might also delete all the comments associated with it! I just learned this could happen, too, on another page – and totally forgot about it! So all of the comments including Robert's smaller page link has gone into the ether permanently with one click!
And this comment will prolly make no sense to readers who come upon this page later!
I am sorry about the lost comments, and I can't undo it!
