Well, I hope that this one is not too easy:

Which was the originally intended title for the film project which eventually became “Cruise of the Zaca”?

    The originally intended title for the “Cruise of the Zaca” was:
    “The Adventures of the Zaca”

    Well, I had a few problems finding the correct answer and I think it is a 2 name film. “Cruise of the Zaca and “Deep Sea Fishing”.

    Come to think of it there was also an intended title published by Peter Valenti
    “Treasure of Yucatan”
    maybe this could be the right answer you had in mind for the quiz, but “The Adventures of the Zaca” also was an intended title.

    I did a lot more research today, as this question has been nagging me all week and I am 10000% certain the intended title has to be “Treasure in Yucatan“.
    If this is not right, I will have an extra glass (large dosis) of Spanish red wine as consolation prize!!

    Didn't have time earlier, sorry, Tina. You and Jan each get a point for “Treasure in Yucatan” as quoted in Peter Valenti's book on p. 41. Tina, if you give me the reference for your other title, you might be entitled to another point. Who's next with asking a question?

    Hmmm, I like to have a dispute going here. Sorry, girls! With respect to Tina, she almost got the answer right, but the correct answer is: Treasure in Yucatan” and not “Treasure of Yucatan”.
    What shall it be, girls???
    In any case, we should have the fun element going here and I wave my right to ask the next question, so I pass it on to Tina as she already has one, and I still have to look for one.
    Is that OK with everybody??

    There seems to exist a misunderstanding here. Dear old Tina unfortunately didn't get the answer quite right, she was very close, yes. The correct answer is “Treasure in Yucatan” and not “Treasure of Yucatan”, so therefore I like a referee here to get things in order. But, being a sport, I like Tina to ask the next question. I posted a similar comment earlier but I don't know what is going on, mine always seem to be delayed someone ass if the Devil is playing with it!!

    As always you make laugh – Wow – what am I going to do with all these points? Do you think if we have enough points we can buy the ZACA? Wouldn't that be a hoot!
    I always think it would be the greatest adventure to organize a cruise on the Zaca with members of this blog. Question is how does one get a hold of the Captain? A very big question?
    I leave you to ponder about that – obviously you have nothing better to do! Ho-ho-ho!

    Ho-ho-ho, Tina… how you made me laugh this time! I am STILL working on one of the subjects you brought up which inspired me very much… As for the Zaca, you can always contact the captain via the Zaca's website – I hope you are lucky enough to get an answer. If you tell him what illustrous crew you offer him for a cruise, I'm sure he will kiss your feet and ask only 1,000$ per head and day.

    Hi Inga;
    Yea – the Zaca's website I can't find it. Do you have the website address? Under “Zaca” everything come up from wine to medicine except what I want.
    Only $1000 a day very reasonable must be Steering accommodation. Hm – I want the main Stateroom and dream of days gone by! Maybe have to sell my house!
    I wonder what Errol would say? Most likely: “Gosh woman there is nothing more on the boat from me except the hull, so you better go Steering it would be the only place if you want to find me.”

    Tina, it's www.zaca.com…. And a cruise on the Zaca sure is worth selling your house – you might get a year's cruising time, and then you come living with me. Or we both go to Courmayeur and start re-building the William Tell village and make lots of money from the tourists that come visiting us. Anybody in for the project?
    I would suggest we take Robert, Tom and Ralph as guides who offer tours and tell the tourists all they know about Flynn or give presentations on a daily basis.
    Rachel will do the web and poster design and help us advertise our stuff, aided by Jan who will find the most powerful words.
    David is going to keep the world up to date by supervising a video blog and broadcasting the daily events.
    The rest of us, including Brenda and Kathleen, you and me, are responsible for the accomodation and catering of the tourists.
    You all can bring along your families and we act as if we are part of an Errol Flynn movie. A different one is staged every day as a special attraction for the tourists, and the original will be shown in our local cinema in the evening. Anybody who can sew the costumes?
    Now I'm waiting for your reaction – when will we leave?

    Thanks but that is Luther Greene's website to sell his video “In the Wake of the Zaca”, in that case I must take a closer look to find the captain!
    Your plan is grandiose – excellent – I like it and you have allocated the responsibilities too – great job genius. I am sure everybody is thrilled at this opportunity and ready to take of into the blue yonder.
    I am ready to take off anytime. You give the word and I am there question is where? Right in Courmayeur or do we meet in Paris first to talk things over at the Maxim?

    As for our project, it seems as if you and I are the only enthusiasts here… I think we should meet down in Monaco first, there are lots of nice places to talk it over, and then have our hop to Courmayeur.

    I already spent a day in Courmayeur looking for the William Tell village. Not nearly enough time, but ultimately I discovered it had been torn down in 1979–eleven years before my visit. Nevertheless, I shall return and succeed in finding the location!
