Patrice in Jamaica

This might be of interest to you. Patrice is being interviewed at the Jamaican Palace I have stayed there a number of times you can google it to see the black and white exterior the concrete floors outside. By the way she ran a boutique at the hotel where I met her in 1996.   my wife at the time and my daughter bought some things from her she was most gracious. I remember asking her for a good local place for lunch and she recommended Woody’s Low Bridge nearby. We loved it and I went many times in years to come with my 3 children. We never did the tourist thing. we met and befriended many Jamaicans over the years. Rafting, deep sea fishing, cliff diving etc all inspired by our man Flynn  www.youtube.com…

    Bob, that is so tremendous you did all this! And with your wife and children!! Fantastic!!! … I’m still hoping to go. If I do, I’ll grab a burger and a beer at Woody’s Low Bridge!

      Great photo Gentleman Tim that beings back memories I haven’t been there for 3 years and must go soon. PS That’s a photo of Cherry, Woody’s wife. There is a horizontal frig behind her which has the coldest beer in Jamaica great after a swim in the Blue Lagoon. The walls are filled with passages witty and true. They have our family favorite hot dogs which Patrice recommended.

    Now this sort of history I really like to hear and see the photos of Errol’s life off screen. His family , wives, children and adventures at sea are much more interesting even than the flicks. I have been away from the sea way to long and I miss it. The desert has it’s own beauty and charm, but the smell of the ocean and the sound of gulls with smashing surf against the rocks and shore is calling me again I guess………It’s also very interesting that Patrice and my father were one day apart in age, Dad was Dec 18, 1926.
