My Wicked, Wicked Ways – What year was this publication printed? Anybody? As per David and Inga this is the Dell's January, 1961, first printing! Thank you!

08 Jun

In the quest of making this Blog a complete as possible information
center about our hero, I am proposing and asking the help of all our
Authors to bring for a start to the surface of “How many publications
where made to date of MWWW and publish as available, all book cover pictures of these reprints.” Furthermore, being most likely the hardest to establish is the year printed. Maybe we are lucky!
I
sincerely hope to acquire your assistance and good will in this
worthwhile venture.
I thank you in advance for any help and for your
most valuable expertise you always give so freely!

I found this as “1st Dell Printing January 1961”. Plus I found this analysis of the cover: “The [uncredited] cover photo for Dell S-11 complements the book’s sensational contents : brandishing a cigarette holder and wearing a smoking jacket, Flynn is rendered in most impish, rascally fashion. But the picture also hints at other qualities we don’t usually associate with Errol Flynn — grace, dignity and sophistication, qualities which, by the way, appear in the book.”

Tina, you should add the French cover you once found, it must be somewhere here on the blog. Does any of our Spanish authors know the Spanish title? There must be at least 3 editions!

    This is a wonderful write-up !
I wonder how many publishers printed MWWW.
We have so far Putnam – Dell – Berkley, I wonder if there are other publishers?

There are more publishers – Pan books US – William Heineman England
As a matter of fact my second book is not published by Putnam it is the first edition of the book printed in England in 1960 by William Heineman LTD – I looked a the wrong line.
Let's try to find more publishers!
