Ah, oui oui, the infamous Oh de Toilette Brawl … of which I never heard of before Taki recently revealed it. Taki – being a Lawrenceville schoolmate of Sean’s, co-vandalizer of the Everglades Club in Palm Beach, and meeter of Errol at Elmo’s – it must be true. (Plus, it’s on the internet, which strictly prohibits false information.)
Normally, I draw the line of investigative research at bathroom doors, especially French bathroom doors. Finding further details of Freddie’s visit to the monsieurs room at Florence’s, however, would be like drawing a royal flush. So, I took a gander … Finding rien du tout, inspecteurheinz.
You may want to call or write Taki, at Takimag or The Spectator perhaps. He may well like to from you about Freddie Mac and hear of things going on over here and there on the EFB.

Fredddie McEvol liked to keep his businesses hush-hush. I know of two books (one written by a Pulitzer Price winner) where Errol`s best man is depicted as a shady figure at best. Yet he had flair and lived a flamboyant lifestyle until his untimely death. He is said to have killed a man in a bar in Marsaille with his bare fists.
