      Sorry for the delay, Ralph. Here are some better clues:

      1. She was in The Red Shoes.

      2. Errol was in his pajamas.

      3. In addition to the world class hotel pictured above, this famous lakeside town in France is also the location of Palais Lumiere, former home of the legendary Lumiere brothers, the pioneering filmmakers/cinematographers.

      4. The second photo above is the key.

        It is the Hotel Royal – Evian Resort on Lake Geneva.
        Lake Geneva (or Lac Léman) is a crescent-shaped lake shared between France and Switzerland, and overlooked by the Alps.

        The Prima Ballerina is Ludmilla Tcherina.
        Fire and water + Evian water and the fire which brought Errol in pajamas out of his room.

        And some literally ran for their lives. In 1958, actor Errol Flynn and Russian ballerina Ludmilla Tcherina were staying at the Royal when a fire roared through the hotel’s upper floors.
