Yes, definitely not Hedy, Hedwig, or Hedley, twinarchers. Miss Lamarr was extraordinarily bright., whereas the answer to this quiz was a real dummy, infinitely less intelligent than the famous four-letter females listed above.
Speaking of Hedwig however, ____ really lost her head one night at a party attended by many Hollywood celebrities after someone messed with her wig, which also came off, leading to quite a fight.
This guy got involved. He would rue the day he did:

Superb, Ralph. You are so incredibly knowledgeable. I could have never pegged both ir probably either of those oft-forgotten Hollywood heavies. The identity of ____ is very unusual, to say the least, quite bizarre actually, part of a long forgotten chapter in the unique parade of extraordinary events in Errol’s life. It did make the papers during the mid-40’s, but is very rarely remembered now. P.S. Decker was very deeply involved too. In fact, along with Errol, he and Ben Hecht helped design ____’s very sexy look. _____ was often at Decker and Flynn’s art gallery.

Well, Paula, I have a bit of connection now to Bad Santa, having helped research and appeared in a film he narrated. He helped us win the Mid-America Emmy for “Best Cultural Film of 2016”, among other awards. So I can put in a word for you! He did a magnificent job of narration, a taste of which you can get in the preview below.
Perhaps in return you can send him a vial of blood. If he were round in Hollywood during the Late Thirties, I suspect he may have been a regular at Bundy Drive, and later up at Muholland Farm, too!

Thank you for that sensational article on Larry Tierney, noirheinz. That is one incredible account!!! Here’s a photo, a candid I believe, of L.T. the year I started college. Coincidentally, he ran for the same small but rather successful college track team I did, at the northern end of Broadway in Riverdale, four decades earlier. He was said to be a great all-round athlete, though for some inexplicable reason he never finished his studies there. (Same for Tony Franciosa, also a non-graduate “Jasper”.)
