I just checked the exchange rate for the opening bid and in U.S. dollars it is a little over $1600.00. Allegedly Flynn wore this jacket in “The Dark Avenger” made in 1954 or 1955. That means this jacket is over 55 years old. That's a lot of money for a used jacket. Seriously let's hope someone from a museum does bid for it. As some fella once said, “That's too rich for my blood!”

Here's an update! Some one actually bid on the jacket and won; paying a thousand pounds for it. (Plus Fifty pounds for shipping and handling.) Kudos to the Errol Flynn collector who now owns this piece of history!

If you compare the prices you had to pay for other Flynn costumes, this one was really peanuts! Guess who told the seller from which film the costume was… his father, who actually owned it, had forgotten from which film it was…
