I was contacted by Dave Hope this afternoon with some startling information: Sean Flynn and Dana Stone were executed within hours of their capture at dusk on April 6th, 1970. And he knows where they are buried.

Dave Hope tells me when the dry season comes around again he and his team will go to the location they have found for a very detailed examination of the burial area. This search has been an unending one for Rory Flynn and her family and Dave Hope has been tirelessly and patiently pursuing answers that have eluded others, most notably Tim Page, for decades.

Do you know what is really eerie? When I looked up information on Lili Damita for my post www.theerrolflynnblog.com…
it said in the German cinema encyclopedia that after the execution the remains of her son had been buried at a nearby riverbank. But I paid no attention because by then Sean was still missing and his whereabouts always in question…

Much to read and deliberate over here. I surely hope the next dry season does bring the closure needed.
So tragic. Sean had so much life and promise in him. Errol would have been damn proud of how tremendous a war correspondent he became, better even than Errol himself.
