I have been sent this e-mail from a friend on the TCM Classic Film Union and it is a website where we all can vote for Errol to be #1 – I hope you participate – have fun making Errol #1! Errol must have a lot of fans voting for him as he is #5 on the list already.
Bashor 2202 – his e-mail reads:
I am writing you
to tell you of a classic movie fan website I have launched. It is a
Hall of Fame shot where classic movie fans decide the inductees. Four
times a year the highest vote getter will be inducted into this online
Hall of Fame. The categories are Actors, Actresses, Films, Directors and
a Behind the Scenes Person. One from each category will be inducted
each session. This is not a solicitation. It is absolutely free to vote
for your favorites, I make no money from your votes. We do ask for name
and email on ballot to make sure of one vote per person during induction
period. We do not sell any of your information. Go to www.silverscreenhalloffame.com…
if you would like to vote. Thank you.

Did anybody vote for Errol?
Robin Hood is number one and Errol Flynn is in second place! This is great news!
If you did not vote he must have a lot of fans out there, which we should try to lasso to our blog.

Hi Inga;
There is always a chance! If Robin Hood makes it so can Errol and Olivia! If all our authors would vote, as there is only one vote per PC anyway, he would make it! At least I think so for what it's worth!
Take care!

Hi Inga;
There is no second voting it goes per PC and not per e-mail address – only one vote per PC, which I think is fair and fair winning too!

What if you use a Mac?

Hi Robert;
I know you have a Mac and I would say a Mac is a Personal Computer = PC too.
Definitely a better computer BUT nevertheless a PC. Right ?!? Unless you have a different explanation, which I live to hear as I have both!

In general parlance, PC refers to a non-Mac computer. (PCs are the “Soviet” version of the computer: like the Russian cars that were cheap, utilitarian, and devoid of any design elegance. They got you to where you're going, but were more often broken down on the side of the road.)

Wonderful explanation!
Am I reading right, do I hear by any chance some snob-ism? Not you? I always visioned you as an unpretentious man like Errol and I am not wrong – am I?

Not snobism. Just descriptive fact.
