Some references call the house “Villa Mildura” on 52 Warwick Street,
others just “Mildura”, but the house has that name to this day. They
are semidetached elegant homes, it is not clear how many, but Prof.
Theodore Thomson Flynn rented Villa Mildura in April 1909 shortly after
his and his wife's arrival in Hobart. Come June of the same year Errol
inspected his very first home and he stayed there until 1914 as proven
by Errol himself. Stated by Bob Casey that apparently a few years ago
at a renovation of Mildura, which must have been around 2004 as Bob
Casey's book was published 2008 and states there that the owner found
edged into the concrete floor under a carpet “Errol Flynn 1914.” Five
year old Errol could print his name very well – picture page 109 – a
very clever kid! Obviously he must have sensed already then that he
better proves his whereabouts!

Because I am unable to find a picture to see how many houses were built together in a row – called semidetached. They are called Townhouses, Rowhouses etc. depending what country one lives in. As Canada and Australia belong to the commonwealth we are in a way British so we have a lot of habits etc from the British.
I am attaching a picture of Belgrave Square in London – Luxury Townhouses attached to each other and I can't tell how many houses are there in the row. The Flynn's lived like in one of those just smaller – maybe there are only two houses attached to each other, but there could be more – many more, I don't know!

I lost this message three times yesterday, either the blog was off or my computer and just noticed that part of it is missing – anyway what I meant and referred to was the architecture. What gave cause to my original phrase was that it mentions 52 and 54 Warwick Street and the word semi-attached – meaning together – anyway we'll go there and see it for ourselves – right!

No need to go there as I can confirm that there are two in this semi detached block of houses. They are mirror images of each other. Both are owned by the one couple and are divided into apartments.
