We always post Dale's Errol Flynn Maria Newsletters and I thought it would be fun to “meet” Dale this way. My friend, Dennis Mullen, writer/editor/adventurer has been exploring Jamaica “In Search of Errol Flynn” and has been staying in Dale Westin's guestroom while on the island. Dennis leaves for home in Canada tomorrow. He brings with him several stories – including sitting at the guest of honor's table next to Dale Westin and Pat Wymore for Pat's 85th birthday party held on Dec 16, although this is not her actually birth day..Dennis was able to visit the Flynn's Titchfield Hotel ruins not once but three times and that is a major coup since the area is now a restricted Army base! Some people have that old Flynn charm and Dennis is one of them!

Thanks, David, for sharing this video with us! Watching it, it makes me want to visit Jamaica and the EF Marina in Port Antonio so badly. Maybe I'll get there one day… :-)
In the meantime, though, it's nice to get to see Dale in this video as he gives his tour of the marina.

I wish Dennis would share his impressions here.

It is very expensive to visit Port Antonio and the area is going through hard times right now with hyper inflation and few jobs for locals. A taxi/van ride to Port Antonio from the airport at Montego Bay (a four or five hour ride over broken roadways) is between 200-250USD one way! And hotels and everything else is very expensive, too… Dennis Mullen is leaving today for home in Canada and bringing with him a lot of current photos and his impressions of the experience. We hope to get some of them onto the blog in one form or another…

Ah, well then I better start saving up my money in order to be able to visit there one day (or I need to win the lottery). :-) Thanks for the info, David!
Looking forward to seeing Dennis' photos.
