Tassie members to visit the USA

Hi all
This may seem a bit silly but Genene and I are hoping to holiday in the States in September next year and need some guidance. as we have not been there before we dont really know what to do and see. At present we would like to spend time in L.A. and New York with side trips to other areas such as Vegas and the Grand Canyon, you know, the tourist spots.
We are hoping that some of the members would like to make our holiday a bit more enjoyable by suggesting where to go and what to see as well as those places that we should not go to especially if they would be a waste of time and money. Of course anything Errol should be on our list, that would go without saying!

    Wish you a wonderful time!

    I’m in South Florida at the present time. If you make it here, I would be happy to meet you and give you a tour of Miami and Palm Beach areas her, if you wish.

    I would think LA is the best place in the States for an Errol tour. Here’s reference to one I took with one of my sons a few years back:

    Errol’s Hollywood Homes, Houses, Haunts, Hangouts & Hideaways

    Karl & I recently visited some of Errol’s old haunts in The Big Apple. Not as many left as in LA LA Land, but very cool to visit.

    My travelin shoes and sea legs are rusting away in the desert ! LOL! My aunt and uncle travel down your way and their friends from Perth visit NJ time to time. I envy that! Looks like David the DeWitt will be able to help in many ways west coast to east coast information is his forte’.
    I did all my travelin in the 70’s and 80’s. Someday, OZ and Kiwiland and of course Taz!

    Many thanks to those members that have responded to our post both through these pages as well as through our private email address. What a great response we got! We will be answering individuals in the near future so dont think we have forgotten you but we want to look at the suggestions first and then ask more if needed. I am certainly looking forward to visiting the states and being tourists in your country. We went to Europe in 2015 but did not like it mainly because we went on a coach tour so this trip no big bus tour maybe only the one to the grand canyon and the big topless buses that circulate around the cities with commentary.
    So thanks to our members and you will hear from us again soon.
