    Reminds me VERY MUCH of another character in his-story; as Conrad relates:

    “I recalled that Errol had, in the late 1950s, brought to Jamaica, one of the Dead End Kids. The particular fellow had been a rowdy on some street corner in some big city before he was co-opted for Hollywood and screen fame; and he remained raucous on the screen and in his private life. To Errol it was fun to have a rough neck around him. And no competition whatever in any department.

    So he took the Dead End Kid to Jamaica and had him around the Boston Estate for awhile, where Errol’s mother watched him cavort. Marelle Flynn was outraged by the shenanigans and language of this chap. She marveled at his zip, his tricks and his capacity for pimento wine which equaled Errol’s.

    One day the perplexed Marelle said to her son, with due sarcasm, ” He does have a certain charm and style, doesn’t he?”

    Remind you of anyone?

      Wouldn’t Flynn have been superb in one of the Dead End Boys’ movies?! He could played it for a lot of fun, like an old Manhattan Miles Hendon.

      Glad that Leo made it to salty shore’s of Flynnland, but sad that he later missed the boat to Pepperland, being the only person who asked for a fee to be on the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s. He was erased and replaced by blue sky, above Karl Marx, to the left of the Vargas Girl, and to the right of his Bowery buddy, Huntz Hall. … Jesus was removed also. I guess he asked too much, too!
