If I may digress slightly… remember when there was the search for a glimpse of OMF (Our Man Flynn) in Welles film TLFS (The Lady of Shanghai)? Well, time now to revisit yet another reputed appearance~ or not.

Here in “The States”, we’ve just come off of a TCM (Turner Classic Movies) SOTM (Star Of The Month) tribute… (hey, when will this guy EVER stop with all the acronyms and get to the question?).

    And the honoree: William Holden.

Wonder if there are any eagle-eyed crows-nesters aboard, who may (or may not) have spotted his alleged, albeit brief, “on screen” appearance in The Sea Hawk (1940)?

Past “Masters” have tried with the advent of the higher resolultion DVD (over VHS), but alas were unsuccessful.

Any lasses (or laddies) up to the task with whatever might be their new technological “yeux” (eyes)?

(She and Holden were dating at the time and married the following year.)
